Title: Bluetooth email app.
Post by: Maverickman360 on September 08, 2012, 06:49:12 PM
I was wondering if anyone knew of an email app that would be able to connect via Bluetooth to my phone so that i can do email on the go. I have an app called tablet talk that does the same thing for text messages and it works very well. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Maverick

Does your phone not have an email client?

You search for a WiFi tethering app for your phone and set up your phone as a WiFi hot spot then you will be able to email or browse the Internet using your phone's data plan. Remember it does count towards your data usage on your phone. You may have to try a few different apps to find one that is compatible with your phone, but there are apps available that work on phones without root. I must admit that my phone is rooted so I have easy access to WiFi tethering.

I downloaded foxfi but haven't had a chance to try it out because I barely get 3g much less 4g at my house. It uses Bluetooth so I would assume that the speeds would be slower than using regular WiFi tethering. I really do need to root my thunderbolt but considering I have a Mac its a total pain in the butt.
