Title: Transferring contacts from phone.

I would like to get all of the contacts that are on my phone into my nexus. Google has its contacts sync thing but it seems to only be going one way for me. If I add a contacts to my Google contacts on my computer it will sync onto my phone and my nexus but non of the per existing contacts on my phone show up. Am I doing something wrong.

How did you guys get your contacts transfered onto your nexus?

Consider this, you have "phone contacts" and you have "Google contacts". Make sure your phone and Google contacts are syncing.

I have all the contact sync options enabled. So far I have found out that all my contacts are saved under my phone. When I go to create a contact the first option is contact type. There is an option for a Google contact but since all my contacts came from back up assistant when I got my phone naturally they were saved as phone. When you go to edit a contacts there is not an option to change the contact type.
So the question know is how to change contacts from phone to Google.

Though as this is a nexus 7 forum I should go posy this in a thunderbolt forum. But if you know a solution please feel free to answer.
