Post by: simon71 on September 12, 2012, 03:03:54 PM
Hi all

I've had the Nexus 7 for 2 weeks now and love it  :) but just tried my head phones in it for the first  time and the connection is very poor the slightest movement and it doesn't work any body else had this?

Are you sure your pushing the headphones in far enough?

They are quite a firm fit and require quite a hard push to get them in...

You should feel it click into place.

You should actually feel two clicks, the first being quite a soft click and the second much harder.

Hi and thanks for the reply. It seem that the jack plug on my head phones is slightly worn works OK on my IPod and computer but not the 7. Tried my old apple ones and hey presto all good.
Next question anyone know what external speakers/docking station will work with the 7?
