New Nexus 7 General Discussion Topics (2nd Gen) / 4.3 upgrade problem« on: July 30, 2013, 03:00:30 PM »
I updated to 4.3 using the forced method. Now Google Play will neither do updates or allow me to install apps.

Thanks, that helps.
Our first Nexus will be set up using our primary Gmail address. We do share most things. The Nexus won't be any different. Your other comments are spurring me to get the 16g version. Now I see rumors of a 32 g, but I don't want to wait. Richard The Golf Bum 3

I will be sharing my first Nexus 7 with my wife.
I know you can't have two different profiles for two different users, so, what should I keep in mind when sharing? Richard The Golf Bum 5

I tried to pick up a couple of apps in prep for my forthcoming Nexus purchase.
I though I could just save them to Lenovo and install them later. No go. Google play just says "No devices" Richard The Golf Bum 7

Well, Rob. Looks like it is you and me in here.
My wife and I are two golf bums from British Columbia. We live in our RV and spend the summers in Grand Forks BC and the winters travelling in the southern STates, and spend most of our time in Texas. Main communicater is a Lenovo Laptop using RV Park wifi mostly. No smart phone, We use a Tracfone in the states and a 7-11 prepaid in Canada. Skype, of course, wherever we can. Leaving for Texas in 12 days and plan on picking up our Nexus in Hermiston Or. on the first day in the States. Oregon = no sales tax. Get it? Just purchased an Amped wifi repeater, so if I can pick up an rv park signal, the repeater should make it nice and strong in the RV for the Nexus. Looking forward to lots of help on this forum Richard The Golf Bum
