Nexus 7 Polls / Re: How much do you use your Nexus 7 on a typical day?« on: February 15, 2013, 11:54:47 AM »
I use mine daily for work writing, calendar and email, and for home reading, writing Internet, email etc. There's no end to it. Had a play last night and in a couple of hours from my nexus I downloaded a cms and ftp app, installed the cms on my Web server and wrote a basic site which can now be edited on the go from my phone or nexus. Www. Jbrittain co.uk gotta love the nexus

Nexus 7 User Tips / Re: Re: Outlook 2010 Calendar to Nexus 7« on: January 19, 2013, 12:55:29 AM »Thankz, Just got my Nexus, love it so far. Frustrated that I can't get my Outlook calendar on my Nexus. But I am hoping that someone can suggest something. There used to be goosync that worked well. But no longer officially supported http://support.google.com/a/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=2716936#gcs to sync your outlook with your Google calendar, it would be worth the effort of hunting out a link elsewhere for it? Nexus 7 Root, Hacks, Mods And Development / Re: Should I root my beloved Nexus 7???« on: October 27, 2012, 11:46:56 AM »
I have two rooted android devices as ive flashed new roms on them. My nexus 7 I haven't as i use the standard rom with nova launcher. If you dont have a reason to and are happy with how your device is running then why root for the sake of it? Have a good think about why you want to root.

Nexus 7 Apps / Re: Passwords« on: October 06, 2012, 01:38:20 AM »
I use splashid, its on my laptop, iphone, android phone and nexus, i can sync with the laptop over wifi, has blowfish encryption and you get 6 guesses at a password then it wipes the database on the local device. On the windows and iphone version it can hold attachments so i have scans of all my certificates, insurance docs, licence etc so in the event of an emergency i have everything with me, this is promised on the android version soon (presuming they are true to their word).
