Is it a potential problem to have several strong magnets so close to a computer? Could that not cause data loss or something?

They'd only be a problem if there was magnetic media in the tablet, such as a hard drive or old diskettes.  We don't have that problem, so it's perfectly safe.

If you're in the Amazon Kindle reader, you should be able to tap the upper right corner and the bookmark will come on.  If you're in the Google Play reader (if that's what it's called), you should be able to pull down the upper right menu and choose Add Bookmark.

Where do you get stuck?  Basically, you'll use the Email (not Gmail) app and enter the proper settings for your mail system, like you would on a PC.
