JayJ, I'm not seeing the trash can. I can highlight the thumbnail, but no trash can appears? What could be wrong? Thanks again!

Nexus 7 Connect (MicroUSB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, Pogo Pin) / Re: Unable to connect to Verizon Fios modem« on: December 01, 2012, 09:17:06 AM »
As an update, when the 7 asked for the password on the connect to my modem screen, I entered my password. It didn't connect. When I put in my WEP key number, it connected. Just amounted to misunderstood terminology........

Does anyone here use the N7 as a navigation device on trips? If so, how would you rate it as far as accuracy and ease of use? Thanks for any recommendations!

Yes, all have been double checked.... when I go to connect, it just shows my Modem ID, and "connecting" will show but the Nexus will never connect. Password is correct. No error messages.

Nexus 7 Connect (MicroUSB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, Pogo Pin) / Unable to connect to Verizon Fios modem« on: November 10, 2012, 07:52:10 AM »
I just received my new Nexus 7. I tried at home to connect to my Verizon Fios modem, but it just stayed on the connecting screen.I have connected with wi fi many other laptops and cell phones on my modem so I know that it's working fine.
I then went to the local Panera Bread, where the 7 connected fine, and I was able to do an initial set up,so I know the tablet works as well. Any ideas on what to do? Are there settings in my Verizon modem I need to change, and if so, how do I do that? Thanks for any help! 11

I'm glad I found a site dedicated to this Tablet. I've had several Android phones, presently the HTC Rezound, so I'm familiar with the OS. But there is MUCH more to the Nexus, so I'm anxious to learn the ropes!
