I'm using Stickmount, it shows it has superuser access.

I just looked around in Root Explorer; storage/sdcard0 was read-only. I set it to read/write access. Now I can save a document from Kingsoft to the device, then copy/paste to the USB. Doesn't seem to want to write from Kingsoft directly to the USB.

Its a workaround, but I can live with it...

I'm rooted and stock; I'm able to read my USB in Astro and play videos from it without a problem. However, I couldn't create a new folder on the USB or write a test file from Kingsoft Office. I'm missing something, but I'm stuck on how to get write access.

Do I have to set permissions somewhere?

Thanks, got it...

Rather interesting way to hide it.

Just got my Nexus 7-- I've rooted several phones and my Toshiba Thrive, but I've never run into this problem before. I'm trying to enable debugging, but when I pull down the Settings, there's no developer options listed at the bottom for me to be able to access debugging. Is there anyplace else it would be hiding?

Seems kind of wierd to not be able to locate it...
