Nexus 7 Help / cannot connect to server

I have a wireless dsl modem. I can use my notebook in wireless to access internet. When I try to connect to internet with Nexus 7, it says it can't open connection to server.So, I can't acccess email.

I went to website and it says new Nexus 7 guidline book is free- when I try to download it, a window pops up and asks for my credit vard info.

Anyone download this withou giving out credit card??

Nexus 7 Audio/Video / Copying video crashes Windows Explorer

Win 7 Home Edition and Nexus 7 - trying to copy video to Nexus. If I try .wmv - when I paste to Nexus, Win Explorer restarts. I can copy some avi files --- some play OK and others don't play at all.

I tried to copy video_ts folder from DVD and it usualy crashes. I did get one transferred and it won't play.

My biggest concern is the crashing of Explorer ( desktop explorer- not browser Explorer)

Is this a common problem?

My bluetooth adapter is installed on my Win 7 PC. Device manager finds it and says it working. I goto Nexus 7 and turn ON bluetooth....my PC appears in window. I tell it to pair and it gives me a 6 digit pin...but where do I input this. Nexus is waiting -trying to pair, but nothing happens on PC... and 'computer screen' shows all my drives but not the Nexus. In control panel- under devices- it shows a working adapter.

I'm on Google Play Icon. It says 'no video found' 'you can copy videos from your computer using a USB cable'...I was able to copy a jpg pic to somehwere..but when I try to copy a movie ( video_ts) folder, Windows explorer crashes and restarts. The USB connected Nexus shows the folders on the Nexus but no files.

PCs I can build from scratch but this is my first view of a tablet.
