I have tried to play the movies after converting them to mp4 but they are not viewable and there is no sound. I think my only option is going to be to buy some software that removes DRM and converts to mp4 because I cannot find any free software that does this. I am going to call Disney and see what they say about getting their movies on the Nexus 7.

Nexus 7 Audio/Video / How to play WMV DRM movies« on: November 29, 2012, 01:02:55 PM »
I love my Nexus7, BUT, I thought I would be able to transfer my digital download movies (like Up and Toy Story 3) to the tablet for my grandkids to watch. I was wrong. I have now discovered that Nexus7 will not play these movies unless they are converted to mp4 and DRM is removed. I have found two paid PC programs (Aimersoft DRM Media Converter & iSkysoft DRM Removal) that will remove the DRM and convert to mp4 and will allow playing the movies. This is a long tedious process and I have a lot of digital movies I want to transfer. Does anyone have any better suggestions? Is there and app that will allow me to play the original files or convert them for me? It there any free PC software that will do the job?

Hello everyone. I am experienced with computers but just recently got a android smart phone and a Nexus 7. So I am finding myself with a lot of questions. I do have one that is pressing and will post it, but this is the first forum I have joined so I need to learn where best to post my questions. Hope I can contribute to the forum in the days ahead.
