Nexus 7 Help / Moving abroad, will all purchased content still be accessible?

Hello,
I am in the UK and looking to purchase a Nexus 7 however i saw a brief post somewhere saying not to go aborad with it as the content is country specific?
I am moving to Australia mid 2013 so i dont want to purchase a Nexus if it becomes useless when i take it down under.
Can anyone cofirm this? Many thanks
