Nexus 7 Help / Re: Vortex Planetarium app« on: May 21, 2013, 07:29:43 AM »
Had an answer from another forum which solved the problem which I should have thought of myself. It's the magnet in the case that caused the problem.

Any Video Converter Pro will convert your movies to Nexus 7 format (or just about any other format). To transfer to the Nexus 7 I use 'wifi file transfer pro' from the app store, it's very good and I have had no problems with either app.

Nexus 7 Polls / Re: What is the first 'accessory' you bought for your Nexus 7?« on: May 21, 2013, 02:08:58 AM »
My wife and I both bought the SNUGG case. Really, really good. Bought another one from the UK (the China detachment) before these and they were utter crap.

Nexus 7 Help / Vortex Planetarium app« on: May 21, 2013, 01:27:35 AM »
I purchased Vortex Planetarium yesterday and found that there does seem to be a problem with my Nexus 7. The sky view is about 180 degrees out. I checked some of the free compass apps that I have and they are also wrong. The GPS is on so I cannot figure out what the problem is. Any help would be appreciated.

Nexus 7 Help / Video format« on: December 05, 2012, 04:04:45 AM »
I have just bought a Nexus 7 and am having problems with what video format to use. I am using HD Player and sometimes mp4 files work OK and sometimes avi files will work. This must be something to do with the encoding but what? I currently use WinX HD Video Converter for Mac. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Brian
