I found the new album folder and it was unticked under
Settings > Display > Daydream > Photoframe

Just got to wait for it to kick in and hopefully all will be resolved.

Nexus 7 Help / Pictures when charging

While on charge I see two of my Albums in Picasa Web being used as a 'screensaver'.
I have uploaded another album but it doesn't show.

Where can I edit what albums are shown when charging please?

I have tried Googling for all sorts but not found anything yet.   :(
Thought I'd come back here as you Guys helped me out last time so efficiently  ;D

If you sneak a go on the Nexus you won't be disappointed.   ;D

[SNIP]  My primary is BTHomehub2  plus the BTWifi with FON and BTWiFi  if I select them it indicates I am connected but if try to go online it comes back connection error  [SNIP]

As I say toulky, to connect to the Public access hotspots on your router you need the BT WiFi app available from the Market Place.

As a note, you can skip the WiFi configuration in the initial setup and set it up later  [SNIP]

oooh, that's interesting S.P - how do you do that?

Couldn't agree more matt, after spending 30 years or more in the IT industry I have learned that just following instructions has never taught me anything, I have only learned stuff when things don't work.    ;D

I certainly will be sticking around in the future loociddreemr...

 S.Prime, matt thanks for the suggestions but please remember the problem we are having is in the initial set up so we cannot even get to Settings to try any of the suggestions that involve 'go to settings'. Until the initial set up is complete we cannot do ANYTHING on the Nexus.

BT is indeed British Telecom - the main UK Broadband provider.

Anyways toulky, my Nexus is now up and running and all is well.
The solution?
Well it's very embarrassing really, I was using the wrong WiFi WPA Key (password).    ::)

How did I find out?
I went to the Settings on the Home Hub and checked out what the key was set to.
As S.Prime says it's also on the label on the bottom of the Home Hub - as long as you haven't changed it from the default.

I then remembered I went from WEP to WPA when I upgraded from Home Hub version 1 to version 3.  I obviously didn't change the key in my password database - d'oh!   :o

Hope yours is such as simple a solution.

Thanks for all the suggestions Guys and apologies for my stupidity, or my memory module failure anyway. Hehe!

If only the error message had been more meaningful such as "Incorrect username or password" instead of the totally misleading "Authenticating..."    :P

I got a Nexus 7 from my wife yesterday for Chrimble and I have exactly the same problem.    >:(
Hence why I joined this forum.

I can connect to my BT Home Hub 3 OK with my iPod, our iPhones, our laptops, my desktop so the problem is not at the HH end.

When I start I see a list of available Wi-Fi access points including my HH as you do.

The access points that have something like BTWiFi or BTWiFi-with-FON in the name are the FON access points which do not have authentication. To use these you need the BT app which you can't download until you are up and running.

The access points that have BTHomeHub or BTHub in the name are the primary access points, looks like BThomehub2 is your own router. This is the one you need use by selecting it. You need to authenticate to use these - enter your WEP or WPA key (password) when prompted.

I assume you did this as mine also says "Authenticating..." when trying to connect.

Mine tries several times then gives up - grrrrrrr!!!   >:(

Sorry I don't have the solution yet but it's sort of good to know I am not alone.
I am on the BT help forum too - I will post there and see if anyone else has had the same problem.
I'll get back here if I find the answer.

New Member Introductions / Nexus 7 newbie as of Christmas Day :o)

Good Boxing Day morning fellow users.

My Nexus 7 arrived yesterday, care of Father Christmas.   ;D
(OK so it was my lovely wife in reality, but hey.)

I've been hankering after one for ages and it was a lovely surprise as (surprisingly) she managed to keep it a secret until the big day.  Whoo hoo!

Shame I can't use the pesky thing, fell at the first hurdle, the set up stage!    >:(
I'll be posting on a suitable thread in a moment or two.

I am an IT engineer of many, many years so the fact the N7 doesn't work for me is disappointing but at the same time frustrating.
