Nexus 7 Help / Nexus stuck at GOOGLE log on screen...... won't boot....« on: October 20, 2014, 11:37:46 PM »
OK. my problems started with the process android.process.acore has stopped.
I thought I had reset the tablet to stock. (I don't think I actually did it) The tablet was working OK for about 1 day and then when I went to use it, it had shut down. I had not put it on charge and the battery had drained. when I realized this was the problem I put the tablet on the charger and when it showed fully charged a few hours later I tried to turn the tablet on. It would not go passed the GOOGLE sign on screen. When I press all 3 keys: ON, Vol up & down. I get the repoot loader screen. Start - only goes as far as the GOOGLE Screen Restart Bootloader - only comes back to the current screen Recovery goes to GOOGLE then a screen with the DROID on it's back, front panel open a red triangle above his chest and the words NO COMMAND. On the bottom of the screen is the following: FASTBOOT MODE PRODUCT NAME - GROUPER HW VERSION - ER3 BOOTLOADER VERSION - 4.23 BASEBAND VERSION - N/A SERIAL NUMBER - 015d4a82922c0a07 lock state - locked 5

Nexus 7 Accessories / SEIDIO protective case« on: May 08, 2013, 11:17:02 PM »
I recently purchased the SEIDIO protective skin / shell for my Nexus 7.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290911709116#ht_3788wt_993 To start, it is much like a smart phone case. soft rubber with a hard plastic outer shell. The front hard shell does double duty as an adjustable stand. I am very happy with the feel and the versatility of the SEIDIO. Priced at $44.50 with free shipping I find it can't be beat and is comparable to the Otterbox. 8

Have you considered the sqlite hack? loociddreemr, None of my droid devices are rooted. Open Garden is great if your broadband is registering a decent strength. Some apps, like Netflix, does not see the connection to the internet and won't stream video. I am going to try PDAnet Tablet next...... 9

Thanks everyone.
I read this thread and dloaded & installed Open Garden on my Razr Maxx, Nexus 7, & Samsung Ultra book series 5 and it works. I did notice that some apps do not recognize the connection to the internet via Bluetooth but I have not had the time to really put this to the test. Well, anyway Thanks again. 10

Nexus 7 Connect (MicroUSB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, Pogo Pin) / Bluetooth connecting to Win 8 laptop?« on: March 19, 2013, 12:19:01 AM »
I have a Samsung Series 5 Ultra book running Windows 8.
This is an i5 chipset with a touch screen. I am trying to connect my 32gig Nexus 7 to it via bluetooth. Now I can get them to pair but not actually connect so I can transfer files, pics, exc. The Ultra books shows the N7 as offline. I am using a bluetooth mouse on the Ultrabook. Any help would be awesome. Thanks Sean 12
New Member Introductions / Hello from NYC« on: March 14, 2013, 04:25:16 AM »
Hello,
I'm Sean. I live on Long Island and work in Manhattan. My Nexus 7 is my second tablet. I first went with an Acer Iconia A500, a great tablet. I gave it to my dad last month. I wanted to go smaller. After much investigation and reviews... I finally settled on the Nexus 7. So far I love what I see.
