I am using ES file explorer to access all the computers on my LAN. Is there a way I can create a music playlist(s) from these various sources?

There are so many apps out there that wake you up in the morning. What I am looking for is something that will wake me up to a predetermined radio station of music from my music playlists of songs on my Nexus. What is the best app that will do this?

What should I search for when looking for an app like this?

I just bought a nexus 7. One of the things I need to do is plug in my usb sticks and drives into my Nexus 7 so I can play music from them.

Which cable is the best one to buy? Make and model please.
