New Nexus 7 Help (2nd Gen) / Music Uploads

Hi to all, just joined. Afraid I'm a bit of a Luddite, so be kind

New Nexus 7, transferred 3 music albums from PC using Media Player. PC said they went, Nexus says they are there, in Internal Storage/Music. Play Music says there is no music on the device.
What do I need to do?
