I am going 2 buy a 2nd gen and give my 1st gen 2 my mom. I know I can reinstall all my APS on my new one. But, is there a way to keep my candy crush progress? It is not linked to Facebook.
Update-- I found my answer. I'm going to try the app Helium. If anyone has tried it let me know what u think of it. Thanks

My wi fi and battery icon is now grey instead of blue. Why would the update change that? Blue is better. How do I change it back?

Does anybody have any ideas of waterproofing and sand proofing for the beach, pool, etc.? So far I've been able to put my N7 in a ziploc bag while taking a bubble bath and it seems to work...but i've never dropped it or had it splashed so I could just be fooling myself. All ideas welcomed! Happy Easter

On the news, this lady had her i-pad stolen and she was able to log on to her iCloud account and see where it was. The N7 has GPS so is there an equivalent feature with google?

I mainly use overdrive because I like free books. I've done one book from google play, and two from Kindle. They are all about the same to me.

I also like it as an e-reader. As mentioned, the kindle app works great. But also overdrive media app, which is what most public libraries use.

I use it everyday to quickly check email as I am one of the last people on earth without a smart phone. I use it to surf the web/read books/listen to music/play games/watch movies while on a stationary bike a couple of times a week. I use it at work for books/games/music if there is down time. I use it every Sunday to check all the sales that normally come with the Sunday paper (weekly ads app is great!). I'm starting to use Evernote everyday to make a list every time something pops in my head. Of course it is great for late night reading but that varies based on interest. I only use it for watching movies/tv when it is not feasible to watch on laptop or regular tv (i.e. at appointments, laundromat, etc.). In any event, whether I use it a little or a lot on any given day, I'm glad I have it and it was worth the purchase price.

The audio works great. It was more clear for the person I called on the N7 than on a headset on my laptop. Go figure. I have not tried the video.

I'm probably not going to explain this well, but I'll give it a whirl...
I have flash on my NON ROOTED N7. I have verified that it works.
I want to install an app that needs flash to work. If I try to get the app through google play it will say that it is not compatible so it won't let me download it.
If I try to get it at the kindle app store on my N7 the app won't come up in a search for it. So I purchased (free) the app on my laptop and it said open android device to download it, but it doesn't show on my N7.
So the question is...is there a way to work around having an app coming up as non compatible because of Jellybean (this is my guess..i really don't know if this is why) ..and getting it to download/install on my N7?

Forgive me when I say I don't know. Before I got my N7- I uploaded all my music to Google Play through Music Manager and that's how I access it on my N7. :-\never mind I figured it out and see where it saves to the device.
