Thanks Guys. From what you say it looks as if its a random reboot. I am using HD Widgets.

Nexus 7 Help / Nexus7 Crashing« on: December 03, 2012, 09:55:51 AM »
My Nexus7 occasionally crashes and then immediately reloads itself. Is anyone else experiencing this problem or know a way of overcoming it, please.

Nexus 7 Android OS (Jelly Bean) / Re: Backup and Rooting.« on: September 24, 2012, 08:42:29 AM »
Am quite relieved that CBers appears to be as apprehensive as I am about this 'rooting' business. However, other people are being successful with rooting, so it is probably not as fraught with problems as one would assume.
I note from the 'Settings' page that there is a section called 'Backup & reset'. For the average user, will this be all they will ever need to get back the information they may have lost? 4
Nexus 7 Android OS (Jelly Bean) / Re: Backup and Rooting.« on: September 22, 2012, 07:34:00 AM »
Thank you S.Prime for your reply which is very interesting and I will probably pluck up courage to try it later on. At the moment I think my Nexus 7 looks very good (I wondered if I should use the word 'pretty', but decided against it!) and I don't want to lose this and start again - yet anyway!
Do I understand properly that until I 'root' my Nexus 7 I am not able to make a 'backup'? Thanks for your help and other members interest. It's appreciated. 5
Nexus 7 Android OS (Jelly Bean) / Backup and Rooting.« on: September 20, 2012, 07:47:23 AM »
Have been enjoying using my Nexus 7 and keep on learning something every day. I have not seen anything about backing-up all my Apps and Settings probably to my PC or maybe even to Google Drive. Is this advisable, or even possible?
I have read some information about 'Rooting' which sounds interesting but quite intimidating. (What is 'Rooting'!) Is there somewhere I can read up about this (in an easy to understand way). Would a 'Rooting' tutorial and/or discussion be a welcome addition to this forum. Looking forward to reading Forum members views on this. Thank you Forum for making my enjoyment of the Nexus 7 even greater. The reviews of Apps and Accessories are very enjoyable. Thank you. 6

Not yet available in the UK.
I guess we may have to wait until Google Music is available here. 7
UK Dedicated Nexus 7 Forum (Great Britain, Northern Ireland and Region) / Spotify Radio« on: July 31, 2012, 07:44:28 AM »I have a Spotify Unlimited account here in the UK. I am unable to get Spotify on my Nexus 7 unless I upgrade to Premium (and I am unable to justify the increased monthly cost). What is the justification for the difference in price when the Nexus 7, my PC and Netbook all access Spotify via. WiFi ? I cannot understand the logic for any difference in price. I see that Spotify Radio for Android has just been launched in the USA. Does anyone know if there are any plans to launch Spotify Radio in the UK?(without the increased Premium of course!). 8

Have just received my Nexus 7, lunchtime today. Carrier was too busy to get to me yesterday (sickness among delivery drivers!). No fault with Google, just the delivery firm they employed.

Update to my previous post. Notification from Google Play that my Order is now out for delivery. Checked the Parcel Tracking number which confirms that my parcel will be delivered today. Although it has been frustrating waiting for the delivery it does appear that Google are honouring the shipping date that they quoted from the start for Pre-Orders here in the UK.

My account (a customer in the UK) has been debited £208.99 so it appears that something is on the move although I have received no further details. My order was placed on June 28th. 2012. Will report if I receive any further information.

I have been aware of what is available on Google Play in the UK so I am not too disappointed that I won't get tv shows, Music and Magazines. Just have to wait until all the licences, etc. get sorted out. I hope I will still be able to get all my music via. Spotify. I do subscribe to Spotify and I see that an 'App' is available. I have been waiting for the kindle Fire to be available in the UK, (I think the kindle Fire has been delayed in the UK because of licences), but The Google Nexus 7 looks very exciting and I have pre-ordered it instead.
