For sure, i had a need to get a tablet pc as my iphone4 is a bit small to cope with my long commute to work. naturally i was initially drawn to the ipad but could not bring myself to purchase one given its cost in the UK. My son is an IT professional and always talking about the n7 for a few weeks and given its small price tag i thought it was worth looking in to. After my research on this and other forums i decided to take the plunge. After un boxing i found the android JB VERY EASY TO USE AND SET UP. After a few hours things started to niggle me. The lack of rotation on the home screen and with many application i again searched for answers. The answer being un locking and rooting. very scepticle at first but after much reading i decided to go ahead. After a few initial problems with drivers on my windows 7 pc i soon had the tab un locked and rooted. What now i thought and back to the forum's. I stumbled on to a youtube vid covering changing the dpi settings. This making the n7 look and feel more like a tablet than a android phone. ROM toolbox being the answer. This gave access to the build prop and the ability to adjust the dpi to 160dpi. Since doing this i have found that streaming from my pc works seamlessly, and everything else looking better.  Google browser also looks and feels better. Screen rotaion works with everything i do. Lots of respect to the expert advisors/enthusiasts on these forums for giving an old man confidence to fiddle under the hood.

Hi there, I have been using Es File explorer for the last two days and it seems to work fine. I have found that when using vplayer to play the music and videos I have nothing but good quality streaming. I am two days into using android n7 and very pleased with being able to stream from my windows laptop as my I phone was poor. Hope this helps but I am just testing  and no expert

Used the build prop in ROM toolbox lite. Works a dream.
