IMHO, Google, made a poor choice on pricing with the Nexus 9, built by HTC, so hopefully we will see a return to more attractive pricing. I have the Nexus 6p built by Huawei and was quite pleased with the pricing of the phone and Google's own insurance plan. I bought an Asus Zen S tablet recently and even with excellent hardware, I am disappointed that Asus refuses to unlock the bootloader, so the development community has turned a cold shoulder to the tablet and it also remains at Android 5.0. The bottom line is that, with attractive pricing, I will be an early adopter of the 3rd generation Nexus 7.

Download WugFresh's Nexus Root Toolkit (NRT) to your computer and connect your Nexus device by the usb cable to your computer. Open NRT, select your device and download the suggested files. On the main NRT screen select Current Status/ Soft-bricked/Bootloop, then select Flash Stock + Unroot (don't worry if you are not rooted), accept the next screen and under the Which factory image screen select Settings/ No Wipe Mode to retain your programs and data. Click Ok and follow the prompts, your OS will be restored to the factory image with all of your apps and data intact. Make sure that you select the correct device on NRT or you will end up losing all of your data.

New Nexus 7 Help (2nd Gen) / Re: Upgrade to Android 6.0 done and now my screen won't rotate?« on: November 08, 2015, 05:24:48 AM »
Auto rotate stopped working on my Nexus 7 2013 after I install Marshmallow and I remembered using Ultimate Rotation Control on a previous of Android, so I pulled it out of my purchase history, yes I purchase the full license, and installed it and the auto rotation feature was restored. The link to the app is shown below.

Nexus 7 Help / Re: Apps won't complete download.« on: July 27, 2015, 03:20:26 AM »
Go to Settings, Apps, All Apps and find Google Play Store and Google Play Services and clear data and cache, then restart the Nexus Tablet. You will have to sign back into your account, but it should correct your problem. If not go back and remove the updates before clearing, data and cache in Google Play Store and services. Hope it helps.

Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the user icon, then tap the gear icon for settings, then tap Backup and reset, then tap Factory data reset. Your Nexus will reboot to factory state.

Nexus 7 Root, Hacks, Mods And Development / Re: Lollipop 5.1« on: March 23, 2015, 03:17:03 AM »
I took the same route with my Nexus 7 2012 and Nexus 10, all of my apps and data survived the upgrade using WugFresh's Toolkit.

Nexus 7 Help / Re: Not charging when turned off & no sound!!!« on: March 23, 2015, 03:13:43 AM »
@ Titan-ium have you tried a factory image restore of the system with WugFresh's Nexus Toolkit, to a version prior to Lollipop? You would at least determine if the issue is hardware or software.

You did not mention how you flashed Nakasi, so you may have tried this, but my first suggestion would be to download WugFresh's Nexus Toolkit and use the full factory image restore option.

Nexus 7 General Discussion / Re: Dead Nexus 7 1st Gen« on: March 13, 2015, 06:54:02 PM »
Your issue could be the power adapter our the usb cable. Try a different usb cable or charging from another source like your computer.

Under Sounds and Notifications/When Device is Locked set it to Show All Notification Content and your alarm will work with the screen locked. Purchasing an alarm app from the Play Store will give you more options, if you need those.
