Welcome to the forum and grats on choosing a Nexus 7. I struggle entering text on my N7 and my iPhone too but I've learned to rely on the predictive text capability to help me out. The first purchase I made on the Google Play store was SwiftKey 3 and it seemed to help.

I'm ready to buy some. I hope Kroger sells them so I can get double fuel points.  ;D

I knew that I couldn't hold off. I bought Facedroid yesterday. It's not bad. I was using Facebook in the Chrome browser and I think it's better than that for sure. It looks like the developer is in tune to our specific needs for the N7. I'm looking forward to the Nexus improvements.

I'll keep it on my radar and check it out when they release an optimized version for the N7. It looks promising.

I wish there was a demo version of this app before I spend my last two dollars of play money from Google for buying my N7. I'm not opposed to paying for apps but the reviews I've read on the store from Nexus 7 owners aren't overwhelmingly positive.

Very impressive benchmarks! I've rooted and unlocked my N7. Where can I find documentation on using custom ROM's? I'd like to give this one a try if it's available for the general public.

You get what you pay for. I understand that there are cheaper screen protectors available at various online outlets but Zagg makes one of the highest quality screen protectors. I paid $17 for my Skinomi N7 screen protector and I don't regret it.

Just pre-ordered mine. I tried to go to Kickstarter last week to order but they were finished and I thought I would have to wait until it came out.

Less is more for me when it comes to a case for my N7. I got a very nice leather case for my Acer A100 by Poet. It made the tablet too thick for my taste. It almost doubled the thickness of the tablet. Since the back of the N7 is rubberized, I might only put a good screen protector on it and be done.

I don't consider myself to be a collector but if I came across a white N7 in great shape, I'd consider buying it if the price was right.

I work in retail and it always made me wonder why people would overpay for something on ebay. My ebay shopping days have been over for years. You used to be able to get some good deals there if you knew your prices but the last couple times I bought items there, I had bad experiences.

@ Darald

Welcome to the forum. Is this your first tablet experience?

I've had one of each generation of iPads. I like the iPad but I'm interested in experiencing life outside the walled garden of Apple.

I pre-ordered my Nexus 7 last week and I can't wait for it to get here. This will be my first andriod tablet and I'm excited.
