BFM wrote about this on the home page and it looks like it will be at Staples. But why would Google make the 32gb the same price as the 16gb? I guess we paid to get less storage and in our hands earlier.

No, this is my fault, sorry, I have two tabs and I was thinking about the reboot on my other.  The reboot is off, volume up and volume down, all at once. But please, call service or maybe someone else might help before you do that, I just think it is a defective unit and you don't want to brick it or erase everything. Sorry I couldn't help more and probably made things worse for you.

Yes, press down on volume down on the side and the off button on the top at same time. You should get the android robot and some text ending with Linux. Let reset. Do not wipe or change to other icon, you will erase your N7. Just do the buttons above for 10 seconds or so and that's all.

If there's not an "x" over the speaker symbol (mute), then try to do a hard reset. Hold volume down and power for 10-15 seconds and release when android robot appears. Let restart

Hi Rusty, yes it turns on the sensor (through the camera) and automatically adjusts for lighting. You can still override it manually if too dark or light.

It only plays what you have with your cable provider. Is ESPN3 part if your cable TV package? I only have ESPN1 and ESPN2 so it won't work for me.

Ditto on this, I'm wwaiting for a dock that supports the N7 in Landscape mode and uses Pogo pins for charging and possibly audio and HDMI out. That'd be the perfect gig for me 
Sam, can we get HDMI with four pogo pins? Would we need at least five for video and sound? I've been trying to figure this out for awhile, but you are my first go to. Thanks.

Hey Jim, when you press the "world" icon (under strike-thru icon) when in posting box, is that the insert hyperlink? I wish I knew what the icons in the second row mean and how to use them when posting. I use a few, but some I do not press as I don't know what they do  Okay, thanks for the help Drew

Best two bucks I've ever spent! I would pay $20+ for this app. It doesn't support ebook, epub or mobi right now, but I'm sure it will be updated. So happy I can plug in movie/music thumb drives without them taking up internal space and without rooting!
The developer deserves to retire with this app (and I hope he/she does)!

Sure, there are a bunch of apps in the Google playstore if you search "pictures". Most offer editing also.
You can disable Gallery in settings, or long press icon and slide to remove button on top of screen. But I am not sure if it can be uninstalled without rooting since it is part of OS.
For a gallery type replacement, a lot of people like/use JustPictures!. There is also QuickPic, but I don't think it will sync with Picasa (if that matters). Good luck!

Welcome Bob, I miss Tucson....lived in the foothills and especially miss those beautiful Catalina mountains. The heat, not so much  There are a few threads here about using maps and GPS with the N7. Enjoy!

Picasa is a cloud based service, so they should not be. You can check in settings, storage, and look at your picture/video space just to double check. You can also go to settings, accounts, and uncheck the syncing of Picasa pics. It won't get rid of what is there, but won't add any more.
Edit:-) : If they are really bugging you, remove Google account, reinstall and quickly do step above, and uncheck syncing.

Well, I think it depends on what type of music we're dealing with (MP3, itunes, Youtube conversion, etc.)
When you go to Google Music (Google Play)on your laptop, click on the album, then click on the bottom right arrow which brings up a menu. Then select edit album info. From there, you can choose a file to place on your album.
In Album Art Grabber (on your tablet only, no laptop), after you download it from Playstore, click "open" and it takes you straight to your collection that doesn't have artwork. Just click on the album and it should say choose image from (Last FM, MusicBrainz or your SDCard). Hope this helps!
Last edit: Jamaicman, in settings, I do not have any options selected like you do (Autosave, etc.) I wonder if that is making a difference?

So does Astro allow deletion of read only folders and files without changing the properties for the rooted user, which is way scary, or do you have the ability to change those permissions?
Jim, maybe Root Explorer would work better on a rooted tablet? I don't know about Astro with rooting. Anyways, I know little about rooting, so bowing out of thread.
