Just updated my Nexus 5, 7 and 10 today to Android 5.1 Lollipop.
Didn't use the OTAs, but took a Titanium backup just in case, flashed stock Android via WugFresh's NRT, rooted them and hey-presto, all done.

Updated my Nexus 5, 7 and 10 today to Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Didn't use the OTAs, but took a Titanium backup, flashed stock Android via WugFresh's NRT, rooted and then restored from the Titanium backup.
Had a few issues where the toolkit couldn't see the device in adb and fastboot modes, but all sorted after removing drivers etc.
So, Lollipops all round.

Anyone got the OTA on their Nexus 7 2012 yet?
I have a 5, 7 and a 10, all of which are rooted, but no updates as yet.
My wife's N5 has received the update, but hers isn't rooted.
Looks like it might have to be a manual update.

Just had a system update notification on Nexus 10 even though I've been on 4.3 for a few weeks.
The new update appears to be JWR66Y.
Anyone else seen this or received on their Nexus 7 ?

Images are already available, but it doesn't seem to be as straight forward as before.

You guys seen the post by the Tapatalk admins about monetization of forums by posting ads? This means we will see random posts advertising stuff. It enabled by default when the Tapatalk plugin is next updated, so is down to forum admins to disable, or sit back and rack the money in. The full posting is here. Further "discussions" here. Just received an OTA update of Jelly Bean 4.2.1 on my Nexus 10 and Nexus 7. I assume this is to fix a few of the Jelly Bean 4.2 issues. Can't do my Nexus 7 as battery is too depleted, but the OTA on my Nexus 10 seems to have installed OK.  Lost root, but VOODOO ROOT KEEPER restored root OK. Will try Nexus 7 a bit later. Just been sent a link to this tool by my son, so I thought I'd spread the knowledge. Quoting Gigadroid from the XDA thread: " With this tool, you can completely backup your device without root or unlocked bootloader. I have tested it so far only with my Galaxy Nexus, but it should also work with other devices running Android 4.0+. So you can unlock your bootloader without losing your data. With version 1.1, not all parts of the program will be downloaded, only the necessary. The most tools in the "Tools" section are for the Galaxy Nexus, but more devices will follow soon." I haven't used it myself, as I am rooted and use Titanium Backup Pro, but it might be useful to enable a backup from my Nexus 7 to my (eagerly awaited) Nexus 10.

It would appear that Google have "hidden" the DEVELOPER OPTIONS menu under Jelly Bean 4.20, but it's fairly easy to un-hide it. So, to enable DEVELOPER OPTIONS menu under JB 4.2: 1. As usual, goto Settings -> About Phone. 2. Goto “Build Number” at the end of the Scroll list. 3. Tap on “Build Number” for 7 times. While typing at the third times, you should see prompt message to indicate you that 4 more taps to go to developer options. 4. Continue 4 more taps. 5. You are now done and go back to the Setting page. 6. You should see Developer Option appear on your setting list now. With Developer Option appeared, you can enable the USB debugging mode for future flashing and development work. Thanks to theandroidrom.com for this.

@Weyzisdeals announced via twitter earlier, that the Asus Nexus 7 32Gb will be available on their website later today.
