Nexus 7 Android OS (Jelly Bean) / Re: Re: Re: Re: here it comes (4.2.2)
« on: February 17, 2013, 10:43:31 PM »
I installed the update via ota, yet my android version is still in 4.2.1. I tried cchecking for system update but the system says that i am up to date. Btw, my nexus is rooted.
How do I know if I am really on 4.2.2 now?

Have you gotten the update again when rebooting? If so why is it failing? Are you getting an error message? Are you rooted? If you haven't gotten the update again you might try and force it using the Google framework trick.  Google framework is in settings /apps /all section. Clear the data and then quickly move to about tablet in settings and update device.  The update should then appear. You might have to try it a couple times. If no dice we need to dive in further.

Still didn't receive any update after restarting. Also tried the framework trick but still no dice. Looks like my ota update failed. Can you advise what trick :-D or procedure should I do next? Thanks.

Rear camera, sd storage and better build quality that can stand toe to toe against the ipad mini's much premium build quality. :D

Nexus 7 Audio/Video / Re: Can the N7 play mkv's and avi's?

I am using bsplayer and mxpro. Bsplayer is much smoother when you play high res vids while mxplayer displays them much clearer imo.
