4 or 5 days of general use? I don't know what you mean by that but did it have a nuclear reactor? Lol.

You open the back and 3/4 of the space is battery... Weighs about double the N7 too.

Right, Wi-Fi will only go off once your Nexus 7 is in deep sleep. To check whether your Nexus 7 is going into deep sleep install CPU Spy from the Play store. There are many reasons why your Nexus 7 doesn't go into deep sleep but with this you can find out whether it is or not.
Because my N7 isn't my primary device (my N4 is), I have Wi-Fi set to go off when the screen is off. With this set, my N7 on but asleep in 13 hours of dormancy my N7 only used 4% battery which isn't bad considering what other have posted in other threads...

i just set mine in "never when asleep" to see how much battery i save. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD

The Nexus 4 is a great phone if you can get one...
As for Sony and their updates, my first Android phone before I knew anything about Android was a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10i and its biggest issue was updates. Released on Android 1.6, it didn't get 2.1 until 6-12 months after other devices and they promised then that things would change....
Really??
The Nexus 4 has at least four of the points sarge makes, it's screen is 4.7-inch True HD IPS PLUS with 1,280 x 768 resolution and whilst not 1080 it is on par with 720p devices like the HTC One X but it's IPS screen jumps out at you. It does have 2GB of RAM and a Quad core processor, not to mention it's pure Android so the first to get updates. The biggest thing though is the price, where else can you by a phone of this spec for 300 bucks...
