If you've updated your tablet to KitKat, it could be because Android changed permissions for deleting files from the SD card.  ES file explorer is one of many programs that can be used to delete files.

First thing to try is uninstall the app.  Then reinstall from the play store.

I love seven inch tablets for one reason.  They fit perfectly in the pocket on my cargo shorts.  No need to carry a bag.

Something to try:

Go to settings
select corporate account
select your email address, NOT ACCOUNT SETTINGS
select the three dots in the top right corner
select remove account

Nexus 7 Android OS (Jelly Bean) / Re: Towelroot

I'd maybe try it if I had a new phone or tablet.  All of my Android devices are already rooted.  They ain't broke, so I have no need to fix them.

Here is the link for Towelroot.  A search will find many tech site articles on it.

Hit or miss is putting it nicely.

Once you purchase an app it is available for all your android devices on your email account. Goto the play store, hit the menu upper left, select my apps then all. The exception is in-app purchases, which don't transfer. Any game or app data would need backup and restore unless you don't mind starting over.

There are exceptions to the exception.  Some apps do let you transfer in-app purchases.  Check before you buy.

Nexus 7 Apps / Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
« on: March 05, 2014, 09:12:18 PM »
I'm a long time user of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware on all of my Windows machines so I was excited to find an Android version.

The software is free.  After the initial scan, you can run a Privacy Manager scan for apps that access your personal information.

Install Malwarebytes Anti-Malware

Look at the back.  If the Nexus logo is in portrait mode it is a 2012.  If it is in landscape mode it is a 2013.

I'm impressed.  Did the cold slow you down?

If you don't have a lot of files, the easiest way is probably to open the file in Open Office.  Then select save as and save the file in whichever format you want.
