Mainly reading on mine and the occasional movie. The size of the Nexus 7 will be perfect for this. My only concern is the battery life.

How will using this affect the battery life as I would assume that gps would need to be on to get the benefits from this?

I've ordered the 16gb. I've had ipads before but I find them to be too big to be held comfortably in my hand for lengthy periods. I've had a kindle ereader for a while and I am assuming that the Nexus 7 will have a similar feel although slightly heavier and will be comfortable to hold for long periods while reading.

I'm looking forward to using it for reading books on. I've just learnt that I can store all my books in mobi format in my drop box account and access them through my Galaxy S3 whenever I want to read them by moving them to my kindle folder. I'm assuming that I will be able to do the same when my Nexus 7 arrives.

Nexus 7 Ordering and Shipping / Re: Ship Date?« on: July 08, 2012, 01:25:54 PM »
I rang Google last week after I had ordered mine as I initially entered the wrong shipping address and needed to change it. While I was on the phone I asked when I could expect delivery. I was told that a delivery date was not yet know but I would definitely receive the Nexus 7 this month. Fingers crossed
