The only two I haven't tried are the Modaco ROM and Kaos ROM, have also used all the other or versions of the others on my S2. I was most impressed as I've said here before with Paranoid Android as it's ability to change it's user space and each apps UI is second to none but I think they are all great ROM's worthy of being tested by those interested in flashing custom ROM's.

Really need a break-down of each ROM and what it offers over the stock ROM.

IE. What has been added, enhanced, against what has been changed, removed and why etc.

It's OK everyone saying this ROM is better than that ROM, but if people don't know what they do, then why root.

 :) :)

It's about trial and error, flash a ROM and take it for a test drive. Play around with settings, see what you can find.

Or...

Check ROM threads in XDA or Rootzwiki,  most have basic functions or a changelog. Allot of custom ROM's are based on CyanogenMod so check that thread first for more info...

As I look around at Roms  I feel as though that is the biggest problem. What does it look like? I know I can customize it but show me examples.

How do I choose a ROM for my device on XDA ?

Look and see which ones had the most views  ;D

Scientific huh !  :P

That being said Paranoid Android is fantastic.  Because the Nexus 7" screen  sits between phone and tablet ( phablet ), the ability to resize all your components whether it be the workspace, notification bars, apps is fantastic.

Wish I'd had PA for my original Samsung Galaxy Tab 7".
