A few weeks back we brought you a report that the Nexus 7 was actually outselling the iPad during the holiday season, at least according to a report that analyzed sales data from electronics retailers in the nation. This feat was accomplished with only the Wi-Fi version of Google and Asus's tablet being available which makes it evn more impressive. Those that have been waiting for the mobile data version of the tablet to come to the country will be happy to hear that starting February 9th the 32GB W-CDMA and HSPA+ version of the 7 inch wonder will be available selling for an estiimated 29,800 yen (around $318, a bit more than the same model in the U.S.) We're not sure how many Japanese forum members we have but if we do please say hello and let us know if you plan on getting one of these.
