App Review: WidgetLocker
« on: February 20, 2013, 12:29:45 PM »
WidgetLocker is a pretty neat app which replaces your lock screen and let's you customize it. Its based off of ADW launcher which I already use and love and find the customization of the different sliders and things like that very nice.

Unfortunately the app is useless and a total waste of $2.99. It does not hide the home button on the bottom and you can simply press that to unlock instead. It renders the dash clock widget useless and it is very hard to find different sliders and things like that.

I do not recommend.

In my past experience, this app always stays running in the background and tends to eat up battery life. Not a fan either.

Does anyone know of a good lockscreen app with useful features, customization, and free of battery sucking bugs?
