Any secrets for keeping the battery up on your Nexus 7?

I know it has a nice battery life, but looking to keep it that way.  Should one let the battery discharge completely and recharge to 100% the first few cycles?  I heard that, while not advertised, you could replace the battery down the line if needed.

I don't think modern batteries need special care. They can charge at any time as many times per day you need. My Droid 1 battery was as good as day one after two years and I charge all the time between car and work.

I plan on keeping wifi off until needed and reading under 25% brightness.

Lithium batteries do not need to be discharged and then recharged.  That will actually do more harm than good.  I have found you get better battery performance by keeping the device topped up when close to a power supply.  Also, letting a lithium battery get below 20% on a regular basis can damage the battery.
