I pulled these using adb's list features command.  Adb is in the Android Software Developer's Kit.  I wish tablet and phone reviewers would query the devices they review.  My astronomy programs need gps, compass, and accelerometer, and damn few spec sheets and reviews mention which devices have those features.

Exhaustive list bird, Thanks!  Can you explain wi-fi direct?  I did a search but didn't find much.  I see where the option lives on the N7 but don't know what to do with it...

Wi-fi direct allows devices to connect directly.  Old wi-fi makes everything dependent on the wireless router.  Wi-fi direct works without the router.  Your wi-fi direct tablet, phone, and printer can link to each other.  One tablet with the WPA password for a router can become a wi-fi hotspot for everyone else in the house or restaurant.
