Tired of propping your Nexus 7 up against your bedside lamp or a book to get just the right angle to watch your favorite film? Well it looks like you'll have another, more stylish option soon if the leaked photos of some Nexus 7 accessories are legit. Swedish site 'Nordic Hardware' revealed a bevy of what look to be official Nexus 7 accessories that seem to be scheduled to be released between now and late August if the dates on the slides are accurate. As you can see above, the star of the show is the 'Nexus Dock' which promises to keep your tablet 'perfectly-angled for better movie and photo viewing'. It'll also let you charge your tablet via the microSD connector in the back of the unit as well as output sound to external speakers via its 3.5mm jack audio out. Priced at $49.99 we wish it had an HDMI out but it still could make a handsome addition to our Nexus 7 accessory collection.
Another interesting accessory shown is the 'Asus Premium Cover' which promises to 'completely wrap your Nexus in genuine leather with screen-protecting soft microfiber interior and sturdy fiber bumpers around the base'. This premium case will cost $39.99 and come in four color options. Speaking of colors another slide shows us a large assortment of color options for the standard 'Asus Travel Cover' that is priced at $19.99. Interestingly neither of these cases appears to use the magnetic 'sleep' feature that we've reported exists on the Nexus 7. A final slide shows an assortment of travel adapters to let you power your Nexus 7 on the go and internationally. At $24.99 it let's you power your tablet with automatic current control and appropriate adapters for the UK, EU, AU and USA/Canada.
So what do you think of these accessories? Will you plunk down the cash for the 'Nexus Dock', 'Premium Cover' and the rest or do you prefer 3rd party gear?
