Anybody have any luck with roms?

Many forum members have rooted their N7's and installed custom ROM's and kernels. I may try some down the road, when they reach a final state, but considering the lack of bloatware on the Nexus 7, I am happy with JB and Nova Launcher at this point.

I installed a Nintendo GBA emulator and I'm supposed to download some roms to use with that app, but I haven't figured out how/where to do that either.  I mean I can find the roms on various web sites but can't figure how to get the emulator and rom to see each other...  Guess this is a different topic but the mention of roms...

Is the OP talking about custom ROM's for the N7 or?

I think Radio is thinking of 'Game' ROMs for an emulator.   I believe the OP is talking about custom Android OS ROMs like CyanogenMod, MIUI etc.

Yeah that's what I thought BFM and obviously Prime did too but after reading radio's post and rereading the OP I began to question the thread or the question in the OP?

Why ask about custom ROM's when the OP isn't even rooted?

Does the OP have any experience with Android and custom ROM's?

EDIT: If this thread is indeed about custom ROM's shouldn't it be in the Root, hacks & mods sub-forum?
