Widgets

At this point in my young Android development I hate widgets. For whatever reason as soon as I install one or a few I feel good at how cool my home screen looks for about 3 minutes. Beautiful widgets, hd widgets etc.. They should call them annoying widgets. After painstakingly rearranging my screen for like 10hours to get everything just right I then feel like my tablet has slowed down to a snails pace and every little millisecond of lag is for sure the fault of a damn widget. I know I am crazy but I just can't seem to find the right widget and stay in a long term relationship.

I used Beautiful Widgets on both my S2 and my N7, not noticed any lag on either devices after installing.
I am suffering from some lag now on my N7 but I don't think it's the fault of BW, more likely the low storage lag issue of the 16GB N7.

I cannot say that I have a lot of use for widgets, as well. I have Beautiful Widgets but prefer the look of 3D Flip Clock with Weather, so that is the only widget I use.
