This is a legit problem, however. After two days, I began to have problems. I read about the 30-second trick and it worked. For awhile, the 30-second trick was the norm. Then all was well. However, as an old electronics tech, this didn't seem right to me.
I called Google tech. They describe this as a problem and would have replaced it if I had bought it from them. So, I contacted Game Stop, where I got mine and they replaced it hassle-free.
I highly recommend replacing any device that doesn't do what it is supposed to do. Yes, it comes up after 30 seconds now, but what about in the future (like, when it is out of warranty)? I am not bad-mouthing the device. I love it so far.
