Good news prospective Google Nexus 7 16GB buyers! The Google Play store is showing the 16GB model of their new tablet as being 'In Stock' with delivery times estimated at 3-5 days. Grab em while they got em! Now for those new to the Nexus 7 release drama...Google's online 'Google Play' store started selling out of the 16GB model of their new Nexus 7 tablet almost as soon as the site went live less than 2 weeks ago. After just a day the estimated delivery date exploded from 3-5 days to 2-3 weeks and then eventually the company had such an abundance of orders and such limited stock they were forced to stop promising delivery times at all and just put a 'Coming Soon' tag on the page. Meanwhile the 8GB version of the Nexus 7 has been available throughout.
As if to make it official, the company has also sent emails to all those who registered on the Nexus 7 site and wanted to be notified when the 16GB model would be in stock. A copy of the announcement that was sent out this morning is pictured below and as you can see the $25 Google Play credit is still included. As far as we know most retailers have not received additional stocks of the tablet so your best bet for grabbing one is from the Google Play site itself. As a reminder the 16GB Nexus 7 model goes for $249 while its little brother, the 8GB model goes for $199.
