WiFi connected but not available

(1/1)

leepback:
Have been away from home for a few days and during that time connected to a library WIFI. N7 connected straight away, then you had to open your browser to enter the library username and password. No issues at all was very happy.

This evening on returning home my home WIFI connects (excellent strength) but apps that need to connect suggest WIFI isn't available. The WIFI icon at the top of the page doesn't show the blue bars either.

Any suggestions??? Only thing I have tried is rebooting but this changes nothing.

Thanks for reading!

S.Prime:
You did not mention if you could connect to your WiFi with other devices, so my first suggestion is to reboot your WiFi router and test, if that doesn't correct the issue delete the saved WiFi connection on your Nexus 7 and reconnect. Then report back.

It sounds like you haven't entered the wi-fi password.

Thanks guys.....

I had reset my router.
I thought password was retained never had to enter it since the first time.

Somehow it just decided to work and while I'm happy about that I am unhappy that I do not know why. Hope it doesn't do so again.
