A Backup Guide?
« on: October 19, 2012, 09:14:38 AM »
What's the chance of someone authoring a step-by-step 'backup guide'?  I know there is a lot of info out there already when you search, but it's all 'here and there' and would be nice in one place perhaps.  Since I'm in the process of re-loading all of my apps (and starting from ZERO again on all games) it would hve be really cool to just click and have everything back as it was, for sure.  Oh, I know I should hve backed up to begin with but, for one thing, I just didn't quite know how much or which of all the many tools/options to use.  Just a suggestion...

+1 from me.

I am a bit confused by all of the 'backup' terms.

I'll speak with BFM and Prime, I'm sure we can sort something.

I think I'll make a 'Nexus 7 Storage and Backup' as a 'child board' under the 'Nexus 7 Connect' Forum.   If it becomes big we can always break it out as its own forum.  What do you guys think?  Maybe someone could write some kind of guide and we can sticky it there as well.

Is that because it's sooo simple that only a 'child' would ask for such a thing??  ::)  JK, I think that sounds like a great idea.

What sorry if things do you guys want explaining?

An explanation on nandroid backups and Titanium backups, the uses and benefits. Anything else you've come across?

I suggest that we we have separate guides for nandroid and Titanium Backup.
