I am new to the Android software phenomenon and have taken delivery of my shiney new N7. I will be using this as a work tool so not to fussed about games, you tube etc and have lots of questions to ask for example can you uninstall some of the pre loaded apps?

What is the best way to store and transfer documents, movies and files to the device (without a PC or Laptop) I have heard that you can connect a stick drive or external hard drive via an OTG? cable.

What app would be best for viewing Microsoft word and excel files.

Welcome to the forum dave1888. First off, most of your questions have already been answered in the forum and a search with the forum search feature will reveal them. I suggest taking a look at the Rooting topic as a start if you are interested in Stickmount.
