Looking for a good Calendar widget
« on: November 11, 2012, 12:23:49 AM »
Hi guys. New to the Nexus. I am looking for a good calendar widget. I currently use Jorte on my HTC One X. And love it. But as Jorte does not have a 7x7 widget. I am stuck for something to fill the screen.

Any suggestions very welcome.

Can you not resize it on the N7?

Try long pressing the widget and if a blue holo box appears around the widget drag the sides until you get the size you want. Alternatively if you really want to use that widget and it won't resize on the stock launcher try a3rd party launcher like Apex launcher, Nova launcher or Holo launcher.

An obvious choice is Google Calendar.
I sync this to my desktop and also have a daily agenda delivered to the calendar widget on my N7, which is re-sized to fill half my home-screen.
Works just fine for me.

Why doesn't the Google calendar widget fit your needs?

It's great but I prefer the layout of CalenGoo Week View. And I really like the Wizz Widget card stack calendar widget.

Yesterday found a great one. JORTE.

And Google Calendar.

I have Jorte on my One X and its great. But I want a, near as damn it, full screen calendar. Jorte (as far as I can see) does not support full screen on the Nexus. It does not re-size like the Google, stock, calendar.
