I will take some pics. I agree Prime. The  cost justification is a help right now. I guess insurance isn't just for the kids anymore either. Show me that bulletproof case again guys will ya.

Ouch! Sorry to hear about your mishap bjs229. Did you have any case on your Nexus at the time of the accident? It's unforseen instances like these that made me bite the bullet and get the Gumdrop case. Not happy at all with the $49.95 price. Not at all! But, better safe than sorry. Now all I need to do is keep this thing safe till Wednesday.

Yes . I have a cheap cloth case. When it flew off my foot the cover opened and the nexus slid glass first along the street. I was stunned when I picked it up that it wasn't cracked. It is damaged but in the dark I can't even tell. I got lucky. The three elastic bands that keep it locked into place kept it from being totally flush on the pavement. There are four but the last one blocks the buttons so I keep it unlocked. That side is where the glass scraped.

I think you're going to win the drop-kick contest by default, because there won't be any other entries.

I was just getting over feeling like a putz. Thanks Bird. :-[
The good news is. In the dark, I can't see any damage. In the light, my machine has, ummm ,character.

Yeah it sucks but its OK .I just hope the screen doesn't pop up in the corner. I can see a little bit of bleed now where it is damaged.
