« on: November 13, 2012, 07:45:30 PM »
Good Evening to !.

I reckon that it is impossible to buy a Nexus 7 8 GB anywhere, anymore ??
the new models came out, 32 GB,  and hard to find a 16 GB, I would like to purchase a 8 GB for a close friend, like the one i have,
anyone have any ideas, Thanks, Pipsisquam

Hi there,  the 8GB was never sold in stores...only online through the Google Play Store.   Since that is the case the only way you'd be able to find an 8GB would probably be a used one on ebay.  Frankly, I would recommend purchasing a 16GB model since it is selling now at the same price that the old 8GB model used to sell for...and it has much more memory.   At $199 it is a great deal.   The 8GB model was always a bit short on memory and not really a very pragmatic amount of ram for such a device that doesn't have an SD Card slot.

**Also, please make sure when you post you are posting in the right board.  I just had to move this from the front article section and it should have gone in general discussions because it has nothing to do with the front article you posted it in.  Thanks.**

It certainly was sold in stores since I purchased mine at Staples.

If you can find one at Staples, I understand they have been discounted to $159.  You can't order an 8G from the Staples website but you have to find a store that has one in stock.

I just bought an 8gb open box N7on craigslist (with a black case) for $120. Very happy with that.
