OK, so I'm in Olympia, WA.  Coming back to Android (well I had a Kindle Fire) from an iPad Gen 1.  I still have an iPhone 5, I like it... shut up.  My biggest problem with my Droid was how many different ROMS, themes, launchers, geeky stuff I would do rather than just use the damn thing.  I'm trying to stay true to stock ROM on the Nexus 7.  I bought it, as I think I want to get my 8 year old one for Xmas and I wanted to have some time with it before I had to become Support Dad.

I've had it about a week and I'm really enjoying it, I have installed (and uninstalled) Go Ex launcher, back to Stock now though and trying to stay straight... :)

Welcome Gary...yes, sometimes choice can be a bad thing LOL.  It's too addicting!  I'm with you and like to keep my Nexus 7 stock now.  I like keeping things clean and functional and I think the stock UI is really well designed.   Welcome to the forum and I hope your kid likes the N7!
