Must Try Nexus 7 Game: 'Air Attack HD'
« on: December 07, 2012, 02:31:58 PM »

With the weekend upon us and the holidays around the corner (in fact Chanukah begins tomorrow for our Jewish forum members) it's time for another Nexus 7 'Must Have' game and today's is a stunner.  It's rare that I play a game and can't think of any way to improve it.  'Air Attack HD' is just about that.  It's an incredibly polished, slick, beautifully crafted arcade top-down shooter that features absolutely stunning graphics, awesomely smooth gameplay and a lush, sound effect rich soundtrack to boot.  Basically, you NEED to play this game on your Nexus 7 to get what I'm talking about.  Here's some gameplay footage to whet your appetite:

In 'Air Attack HD' you find yourself in the thick of combat with 10 missions to get through.  You can choose any of four different ways to control your plane..touch, relative touch, joypad or tilt.  The graphics are beautifully rendered in 3D with amazing animated enemy planes, missiles, flying saucers, bombers...you name it.  There's terrific hard to beat end level bosses and tons of destructible scenery and objects on the ground from bridges and buildings to hidden munitions, tanks, missile towers...everything you can imagine.  You can choose from one of three player planes and the game features awesome lighting effects.   There's 64 different kinds of enemies and did I mention the full orchestral soundtrack?  Try it.  Buy it.  Play it.  Free and Full versions(only $2.99!) at the links below.
