No I haven't opened it yet. Was in no hurry until the issue gets sorted.

Do you definitely have the problem? Pardon me for not remembering , have you tried any other BT speaker? You could be one of the lucky ones. How about on the little computer? Can it be tested on there as well?

I'll definitely do my diligence in testing with my mini, and my wife's Nexus as well. I've never tested the issue on any of the devices. I was waiting on the Jam for Christmas as well. I'm actually surprised that I held out this long.

Just went out and tested my Bluetooth audio while connected to my current radio via BT, simultaneously with my home wifi. I had no issues, and tested Netflix, YouTube, Spotify, as well as local music/video files. I had no stuttering or anything. Hopefully this is still true when I get the new Bluetooth receiver I will be using, since this is not the one I will be using when I get to that point of the build. Thanks for your help and concerns, but it looks like I will be fine for now. :)

Some tape to hold it in place, to give you an idea of what it will look like when it's done.
Hopefully buying the fiberglass resin this week to get started on the actual build.

Oh, no one here saw my "prototype" pogo charger, but here it is, all cleaned up.

I am waiting on some probes to go on the end to complete the pins.

No latency either? While watching video? I never used a BT radio. I am not sure of what the difference would be from just a bluetooth speaker like a Bose or Jambox but I am glad it works for you.

Alright Barry, I broke down and tested the Jam. Worked great. Streamed music from Google play anger played at full volume with no issues whatsoever. YouTube videos have no sync issues or buffer lag.  Guess I'm one of the lucky ones?

Do you think I am making it up?  I give up.
So what could it be ? There are a lot of people with the same problem that I have . I am beyond frustrated and starting to get pissed.

Maybe all the devices that work should have a 'compatible with Nexus 7/Bluedroid' sticker.

So, I stopped at Advance on the way home to pick up fiberglassing stuff, and the cashier asked "What are you working on?" So I told him I was putting a tablet in my dash. He answered with a confused look and "Like uhh... internet tablet?"

Anyway, I have my fiberglass resin and whatnot. Waiting for it to either warm up, or me to find a warm ventilated area to proceed.
Looks like my NFC tags will be here tomorrow, my POGO probes will be here at the end of this week, and my RCA level controllers some time this week as well.

Lol I know your not making it up bj!

And if its Bluetooth it should be compatible. Its usually not a problem with whatever the device is but with android. In my experience no matter what brand it seems like half work and half don't whether its a Samsung tablet or phone or an Asus or a Sony or whatever.

Good work inm I can't wait to see the finished product! Did you mention what car this is going into yet?

Nah I've been super busy with work, working late. I'll hopefully get it done next weekend.
