Which toolkit? Have you ever made a successful backup in the past? Can you in the meantime make a Nandroid in recovery and transfer it to the PC?

What is the deal with the ON THE GO? I take it you are rooted? Have you messed with partitions in anyway?

I may be missing something and pardon me if I am, but wugfresh creates the backup on your PC, so if you are looking for it with TWRP, it will not find it. So, to restore the wugfresh backup, connect the Nexus 7 to your PC and open the ToolKit and it will see the backup you created. If you want a TWRP nandroid backup, you will need to create it from TWRP, and the backup will reside on your tablet.

Live and learn...I was checking too many boxes on the backup list...as soon as I left sd and android secure boxes unchecked the backup went smoothly...Many thanks for your help guys!

I thought there was an actual backup failed message. I am a little confused but sounds like all is well. Cool.
I read something about both of the mentioned errors and they pointed in the direction of TWRP.

Yes there was a backup failed message on the N7 screen but it was due to clicking too many check boxes on the toolkit...as soon as I unchecked android secure and sd partition all ran smoothly...Thank you!
