Battery indicator issue

Just recently I noticed when I go to my battery screen the battery discharge time is WAY off. I have another battery app installed that states the correct time the battery was last fully charged. Anyone heard of this and how to fix?

The charge remaining is only relative to the tablet being idle, using applications and having the screen on is going to effect the overall discharge time.

Mine shows the "Time on Battery", which is accurate with the last time I charged the battery, but I have honestly never paid that much attention to it, but will make notice. I would try powering down the Nexus 7 and see if that clears the battery history and then note the accuracy.

Mine was fully charged yesterday at 9:45am and yet the battery indicator says just under 18hrs on battery. Something wrong.
