Best way to handle the O.S. update

Hi, I'm very happy with my rooted N7 with Jellybean.
Which is the best way to handle the upcoming update 4.2.2 ?
I have Titanium Pro  and Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper  2.0.3 installed.
 First, I make sure that the  backup  with Titanium Pro is recent.  Then, should I go to Rootkeeper and select "Temp. un-root" ....Then update to version 4.2.2 O.S. . 
After that do I run Rootkeeper again? Will my system still be rooted?
Would that be the best way to handle the upcoming update?
I still have a lot to learn about the Android System and appreciate this forum and help I have gotten so far very much. Thank you!

Firstly you don't need to unroot, just run Voodoo OTA RootKeeper to back up the su binaries and once the update is complete you run it again to restore those binaries.

As for Titanium, the update shouldn't wipe your device so you won't loose any apps. You can backup your apps beforehand if you'd like but there should be any need too.

If one is a novice with Android and rooting, your best resource for a smooth OS upgrade, is the advanced members of our forum. When 4.2.2 drops, allow the advanced users to experiment with the upgrade and then follow their advice for a trouble free upgrade and look for an upgrade guide in our forum.

Thank you for the advice!  Most of all, the good advice to first see if there are any glitches with the update.

Past experience shows that it is good to wait a day or two to let things settle and pick up any info if needed. I am being a hypocrite by saying that because I can never wait..lol

Any changes to the stock system can cause issues with an update. This includes apps that install binaries, frozen or disabled apps, build.prop edits, etc. If you are rooted, there is a chance that something may be changed. Like others have said, us experienced users will be testing to see what will be the smoothest way to proceed with the update. You seem to already be prepared. I would suggest having a Nandroid backup. Be patient and let us do the rest...

I actually un-rooted using WugFresh's Nexus Root Toolkit v1.6.2 and just downloaded the image for JOP04D from the Google servers and flashed that os version directly to my tablet. Worked like a charm. Of course I re applied root again and went with Xylon Grouper which I am still using. So far Android 4.2.1 is pretty AWESOME!!!!
