Toolkit does not have android 4.2.2 option
« on: February 21, 2013, 01:35:44 PM »
Real newbie with a 1 day old Nexus 7.
Downloaded the Nexus Root toolkit from this site but it does not have the android 4.2.2 I have running on the N7. Using *.*.* and my build # gives me an error:
"This feature does not work with the build you selected....."
Scared to go any further.

Download the new drivers here

Download that zip and extract/unzip its contents into the toolkits/data directory and agree to overwrite those files, then proceed to use “Any Build” mode to root.

You're welcome.

I'm not the lowest of the low, but I am the slowest of the slow (49.6 mpg over 38k miles in  Scion xB)
